Still breathing
Well, I'm alive. I know, most of you were starting to wonder (um, if you're still hanging around). We've made it to the states, but not signed into our new post yet. We've been staying with my in-laws, who only have dial-up AOL. Can you believe that shit? How does anyone deal with that? It's like a flash back to 1995.

On the whole, our vacation's been pretty good but for one really sucky part. My Grandfather died. He was 75 and had been living with Type I diabetes for more than 60 years. He'd had a good life despite that though. My Grandma's torn up, of course. We went up to Jersey for his memorial. It's still hard to process though. Every moment I was in their house, I kept expecting him to walk out of the back bedroom. Stupid, I know.

Anyways, the boys and the Hubby are fine. We had to give up the Dog before we left Italy, for several reasons, not the least of which was Hubby's new allergies. So he went to a pet store and bought me a dog that has hair, rather than fur - a shih-tzu. He's high maintenance but otherwise perfect for our family. And unbelievably cute - we named him Gizmo 'cause he looks like the good one from Gremlins. My pregnancy's going fine, even including the fact that in the past two weeks I've gone from not showing any difference body wise to freaking EXPLODING. I swear I look like I'm about 6 months preggers, not 18 weeks.

Well when we get to N.C. and settled in, I'll get back in the rythm of posting again. 'Til then take care and I hope everyone had a good holiday.

You get pregnant porn spam :)

Yay for your move. Sorry about your grandpa. And I always think other people's pregnancies go quicker than my own did, but I think you've been pregnant FOREVER! Glad you're back (although with AOL, that's debatable).

So glad to hear from you. So sorry about your grandfather. Here's hoping the unpacking goes smoothly with no unexpected surprises. As for you and the baby, sounds like you are both healthy and can enjoy those few months of just you and the baby time. After that, the kids and the hubby want to share (except when they are crying or need changing! :o) You are in our thoughts and prayers for a smooth transition in both house and family.

Glad to see you're doing ok. Sorry about your grandfather.
My parents use dial up too. But then again, they refuse to get cable/satellite tv too. They finally broke down and got a dvd player about 2 years ago. That is their only nod to technology.
